With Online Offline Manager you can manage a group of user's online status in real time and they can independently log online and log offline using a standard webform. You can totally customize the look of the login form and online/offline graphic indicators and build it into your website page(s).
Images are generated based on the status so there is no need to change the graphic manually on webpages and it works with a standard IMG tag so it will work on any html page, yes, even on free hosts!
